Peacock Flounder

XXThis fish actually swims on its side.  As it matures, one eye migrates across its head allowing both eyes to be on the same side.  The flounder then lays over to swim along the sea bottom.  That fin on top is really a pectoral fin.  If you take a close look at the face, you'll see that the mouth is sideways.
